Frequently asked questions
Does uploading a new certificate update the expiry date?
No. Evidence does not change the record’s dates. Update the dates with Edit / renew.
Who can open the files I upload?
Compliance documents are not published on the public website. What you can see depends on the access available to your current account, and sensitive evidence such as Right to Rent material is kept separate from ordinary documents.
Can I find the file later outside the record?
Yes. Compliance files also appear in the Documents library, where you can search by name and see linked properties.
Does Fructus confirm that my property is legally compliant?
No. Fructus helps you organise compliance records, monitor deadlines and manage supporting evidence. Compliance information reflects the records and dates entered into your workspace and does not constitute an independent legal assessment or certification. Requirements vary depending on the property and circumstances, so seek professional advice where appropriate.
